Kaulins Akins (Laurie Penneypacker)- Kaulins is a junior at Weatherford High School. She's done one other play. She was Iris in The Paper Bag Bandit Rides Again at Clinton High School. Eva Zitterkob (1st Ballet Pupil)- Eva is a sixth grader at Weatherford Middle School. She plays violin and clarinet, and takes dance and gymnastics lessons. She is active in church, 4H and Girl Scouts. Eva wants to major in drama in college and plans to be an actress when she grows up. She enjoys skits, play productions and making videos with friends. She was one of the students in the SWPH production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat last season. Aislins Henschel (2nd Ballet Pupil)- Ais hails from Limerick, Ireland. She's been in several play productions as well as Irish dancing festivals and competitions. Aislins is an accomplished equestrian with many ribbons credited to her name, She moved to Weatherford two months ago with her mother. Casey Beloat (3rd Ballet Pupil)- Casey is the 16 year old daughter of Ray and Allana Beloat. She attends Arapaho High School, Casey has been in several SWPH productions including Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Smoke on the Mountains, The Trip to Bountiful. She has a younger brother and sister, Joseph and Sabrina. Isabella Jennings (Bella Penneypacker) - With the rest of the family doing plays all the time, it is only natural that Isabella would want to get in the act, too. At 7 years old, and after several roles as one of a number of children, Bella is delighted to have lines this time around. She is a 2nd grader. Chelsea Hildreth (Davida Penneypacker) - After 4 years and 6 plays she finally got a speaking part, and then 3 weeks before opening she had to have surgery on both of her legs. Maybe Mom shouldn't have told her to 'break a leg'. Chelsea has been in Cinderella, Wizard of Oz, Li'l Abner, Will Rogers Follies and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Sarah Wheeler (Edwina Penneypacker)- Sarah is the daughter of Terry and Marcia Wheeler and is a sixth grader at Washington Elementary School. She has had roles in The Ransom of Red Chief and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at SWPH. Sarah looks forward to more productions with children's roles at SWPH. Elizabeth Reed (Elizabeth Penneypacker) - Elizabeth has been in two plays at SWPH, The Ransom of Red Chief and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. She loves the playhouse and hopes to be in more plays. Cammy Rutherford (Aunt Jane Penneypacker) - Cammy has been with SWPH since 1998, Her first play was It's a Wonderful Life, but her first big role was in Lil'l Abner. To this day people still call her Mammy. She says, "Thanks Steve. It's fun and exciting to be a part of this theater family. I can say, there's never a dull moment. Thanks for the opportunity to work with everyone, Tina. It's been interesting . Let's just hope everybody can be here for the show !!" Samuel Jennings (Wilbur Fifield)- Since Sam's first play at SWPH, Lil'l Abner, Sam has become a veteran. He has been a part nearly every play since, either onstage or backstage. Sam is a junior at Weatherford High School, where he is also involved in drama. Courtney Akins (Kate Penneypacker) - Courtney is a sophomore theatre major at SWOSU. The last play she did at SWPH was The Man Who Came To Dinner. She has also performed in A Baseball Fable, Give and Take, Treasure Island and Dracula at Weatherford High School. At SWOSU she as performed in Tartuffe, All in the Timing, Nice People Dancing to Good County Music, Medea and she designed the props for SWOSO's American College Theater Festival entry this year, Fuddy Mears. Aleta Bowman (Ma Penneypacker)- This is Aleta's first production at SWPH, and she's been a delightful addition. Aleta is a graduate student at SWOSU and is mother to Tony and Rick. We can look forward to seeing her in more productions at the playhouse. Chris Steiner (Henry Penneypacker)- "This play has been a lot of fun and the cast was great. This is the sixth play I've been in, and I'm excited to have the privilege of having a role. I love acting." Most recently Chris has performed in Lost in Yonkers, The Will Rogers Follies, Grease, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and he was The Artful Dodger in the Jewel Box Theatre production of Oliver. "I'm an aspiring actor and forward to my next performance. Thanks !" Aaron Conkling (Teddie Penneypacker)- This is his very first major role at the playhouse. He has had a lot of cameos and silent parts here, though. The rest of his family has been very active here also. "I'm just happy I get to do something here - It's really fun !" Jeff Kenney (Grandpa Penneypacker) - The best part of his life is his family, his wife Tina, sons Tyler, Willie and Kameron. He is employed by Clinton Schools. His previous stage experience is Bye Bye Birdie in high school, working lights in The Ransom of Red Chief, sound in Swingtime Canteen and cast member in Swingtime Canteen and They're Playing Our Song. Grandpa Penneypacker is his first speaking role. Quinlan (Fitz Jennings)- Quinlan is a theatre student at SWOSU. He has seen a wide variety of roles since he fell out of the sky on wings of gold. Stefan Nebel (A Young Man)- "A German boy of 17 years - that's me." Stefan is attending Clinton High School this year as an exchange student. He lives with the Looney family, and says that he is enjoying his time here, so much that he can't believe he has just 1/2 the year left. In Germany, Stefan played a major role in his school's production of Oliver, and he helped produce a number of other plays as well. Stefan really enjoys the fun of being involved in the theatre. Bill Haney (Dr Fifield)- Bill has been in too many productions to name; the most recent being The Fantastiks at Red Carpet Theatre in Elk City. The mayor of Thomas, Bill divides his time between his civic responsibilities, softball, theatre and his contributions to several communities in Mexico. John Glosser (Sherrif)- John is the pastor of the Federated Church in Weatherford. Caught in a weak moment, he agreed to play the sherrif. As an actor, he is similar to Burl Ives. The main difference is that Burl knew his lines. Jim Hull (Pa Penneypacker)- Jim has been in so many plays at SWPH that he can't even think of anything new to write for his bio. He and his wife Sharon (costume designer) both enjoy being part of life at the playhouse. Sharon Hoffman (Policeman)- This is her first speaking part and she's excited. "I'm 52 years old, married to a great guy, and I have five children, six granddaughters, and one grandchild on the way. I work for the new OB/GYN in Clinton." Mary Beth Henschel (Make-Up) - Mary Beth has been a production make-up artist for over 3 decades and is currently a broadcast journalist. SHe has done many play productions, film, TV and print make-up artistry. Mary Beth is currently news director with Wright Wradio "The Coyote", "Hot Mix" and "Oldies 99". Marcia Wheeler (Producer) - Since Marcia's debut role in Ransom of Red Chief, Marcia has graduated to Assistant Director, Green Room Mother, and Procurer Extrordinaire. Marcia teaches at Clinton High School and is wife to Terry, mother to Erin and Sarah. Jeri Zitterkob (Production and Make-up Assistant) - Mother to Eva, Jeri feels especially connected to this play because she is the direct descendant of polygamists. Sharon Hull (Costumes)- Sharon is a long time popular presence at SWPH. She graciously shares her considerable creative abilities with us by putting together the many costumes in this show. |
